18th 4.00pm  Shoreline Films start work with Media Studies pupils on Climate Change film project  - to be held every Thursday until March
22nd all day Dowdales organise Annual  Arts/ Entrepreneurial  Conference at Forum 28 for all year 9 pupils in the area .
 29th 7.00pm  Year 7 Drama Club perform Macbeth at Forum 28 as part of Shakespeare in Schools festival

13th & 14th Adam Clarke - (artist in residence for Climate Change Explorer Project )to launch his residencty with pupils in assembly
27th Royal Opera House in school for Music workshop for the Community Opera
28th  evening Music Concert

 9th / 10th / 11th  Community Opera with the Royal Opera House at Forum 28  culminating in a performance of Il Trovatore on Sunday afternoon at 3pm. Tickets from Forum 28 box office.
 21st  7pm  BEATLE MANIA!! Music by the Beatles - orchestral works, choral melodies, solo artists and the annual chamber music grand showcase. School Hall. Tickets on the door £3.50 / £3
27th - 29th School production - Charlie Elliot's Wicked School Musical!

18th/19th Year 9 History  and Media Studies pupils start preparatory work  on a film to be made with Shoreline Films on " Not from Round Here"  - thisis part of  " Abominable Traffic" the county's creative partnership project on the abolition of slavery.
19th After school dance clubs start at Askam and Dowdales for extended school pilot.

World Premiere of Climate Change Explorer film "Cecil and the Penguins"  made by year 10 Media Studies pupils with Shoreline Films - Forum 28 Barrow . Keynote speech by Paul Rose , explorer and TV presenter.  Also showcase of Adam Clarke's residency.

Year 10 pupils working with Dylan Calder from the National Youth Theatre on a magazine for Project 1000 - to be completed by July 27th
