Welcome to Furness Music Centre. We are a true community music centre in the Furness Peninsula in South Cumbria, catering for all ages and abilities of people who want to make music with others. If you are an orchestral or choral musician, you may like to join one of our groups at our Saturday Music School, and enjoy ensemble music or singing in a choir. If you a music lover who is looking to learn more about concerts in the region, there are many events throughout the year that you are welcome to attend, and we are certain that you will find something to suit your musical preference! We offer a two year twilight study course for the AQA GCSE Music qualification - open to all ages. Do scroll down to find out what we are doing this year, or click on the link to our members diary. FURNESS MUSIC CENTRE'S 4TH ANNUAL CHAMBER MUSIC WEEKEND was a tremendous success with John Mellor (clarinet), John Durrant (trumpet), Michael and Edward Walton (violins) and Jocelyn Boyer Campbell (flute) tutoring 7 groups across the weekend.
